The Horse is one of Mother Nature’s most beautiful and mystifying creations. A magnificent organization of power and grace that inspires us to a level of wonder unlike any other animal on the planet.

The earliest memory I have of being mystified by the magnificence of the horse was at the age of five. I was born in Poland in the not so distant times of communism and the concessions that came along with it. The shortage of gasoline, for example, made driving a luxury. As a result, many farmers used horse-pulled wagons to get around. Anywhere you looked, horses were grazing in the fields or trotting along the streets of our small town. I remember sitting in the back of my parent’s car, gazing in awe every time we passed one, traveling into the world of fantasy imagining myself riding the most magnificent steed. When I was around ten years old, my parents bought our first horse. The memories of riding through the breathtaking Polish forests with them, especially with my father, will stay with me forever. Having the privilege of riding these magical creatures as a carefree child made these some of the best moments of my life.
Today my home is in Ontario, Canada where I am very fortunate to continue my passion. I own Appaloosas, native to my new homeland, and ride endurance. This year I started in dressage and jumping and hope to train towards eventing. I am blessed with a wonderful family, friends, and neighbors who share my passion of riding and nature, and who have helped to make horses a reality for me once again.
Let a horse whisper in your ear and breathe on your heart. You will never regret it.
The beauty and magnificence of the horse is something to be shared and celebrated. I have developed a number of different glass Christmas ornaments depicting horses and their beautiful energy. I hope that every time you look at one it will make you pause and connect with what the horses have to share with us – beauty, grace, magnificence, wisdom, peace, and magic. Especially at Christmas time.
All these ornaments are handcrafted in Poland, the country of my roots. Polish craftsmen have specialized in glass Christmas ornaments for generations. They share their passion of horses and art through their paint brush and celebrate the level of wonder the horse inspires us to feel.
A man without a horse is like a body without a soul.
